Enter the competition to win a week's break in the Maldives by writing a report of a holiday you have taken.

We would like to know about your summer break: the highlights and lowlights; the best – and worst – places you stayed or where you ate; your favourite cafés and bars; examples of slipshod or sterling service; fine or lacklustre attractions; and, above all, any tips or recommendations you would like to share with readers of The Sunday Telegraph.

The best entries will be published in this section and on our website, and the single best entry, chosen by the Travel Editor, will win a week’s holiday for two to the Maldives.

Your Holiday Report should include the following:

* Brief details of your holiday: Type, cost, duration, solo, family.

* Highlights and low points: (100 words maximum for each, please).

* The best and worst hotel: (or other accommdation) and restaurant, and why you loved or hated them (100 words per entry).

* Tips and recommendations: Things to do, favourite beaches, drives, walks, attractions.

* What to avoid: The most over-rated attraction.
