Centara offers family vacation package for the Maldives Children under 16 stay for free include all meals

Centara Hotels & Resorts is offering special vacation packages for families inwhich up to two children age 16 years or under and travelling with their parents can stay on an all-inclusive package at the Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives free of charge.

The Great Family Vacations Maldives package is available from now until October 31, 2010.

A choice of three accommodations at the resort offers a Beach Suite at USD599 per room night, a Deluxe Family Villa at USD699, and a Two-Bedroom Luxury Beachfront Pool Villa USD899.

Room rates are based on a per room per night basis, which is for two adults in the Beach Suite and Deluxe Family Villa and four in the Two-Bedroom Luxury Beach Front Pool Villa.

Under the package, up to two children under 16 years stay on an all-inclusive basis free of charge. For persons over and above this sharing the accommodation a charge would be made of USD175 per adult and USD75 per child under 12 years old.

The rates include service charge but are subject to a government bed tax of USD8 nett per person per day.

The all-inclusive package includes daily buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Reef Restaurant, the resort's main restaurant. There is a once-per-week opportunity to dine complimentary at Lotus Thai restaurant or Azzuri Mare Italian restaurant.

Afternoon tea and an afternoon ice cream station for children is also included, as are pre-dinner snacks at Coral, the resort's main bar and lounge, all-day soft drinks and mineral water, and an open-bar service that includes house pouring brands, cocktails of the day, house white, red, and sparkling wine, house beer brands, soft drinks and mixers between 11:00 am and midnight daily.

To ensure that children fully enjoy the adventure playground and educational opportunities, there is a kids' club, sports galore, and organised activities and events.
