One&Only Reethi Rah, Maldives was delighted to participate in the International Day of Climate Action, 350 Campaign on 19 October.
Executive Committee of the Resort, Senior Management and other Team Members participated in the event which was conducted for one hour in the Staff Beach area.
Event started with a valuable speech from the General Manager of the Resort, Stephan Killinger followed by an introduction of the event from the event organizing committee. In the GM’s speech he highlighted the importance of focusing on environmental issues and contribute on a resort level to minimize the environmental hazards that Maldives is facing currently.
General Manager and Department Heads signed the 350 banner followed by many Team Members who have gathered to participate in the event. After signing the banner, organizing committee took the banner to the lagoon whereby a group picture was taken to show our interest on saving the planet from various environmental hazards.
We are also delighted that One&Only Reethi Rah will be going for Green Globe Certification towards the First Quarter of 2010, which shows the importance that One&Only Reethi Rah is giving for environmental issues.
