Kanuhuraa Maldives wins Food Safety Asia Award

Kanuhuraa Maldives resort has been awarded the Food Safety Asia Award (FSA).

Lhaviyani atoll Kanuhuraa Maldives is the first Maldivian resort to receive the award. A total of 22 Maldivian resorts participated in the contest and Kanuhuraa took 80 percent in the audit done by FSA.

An official from the resort said that they were very happy at winning the award and that they would give the highest priority to food safety in the future. The official further said that the award was a result of the attention that the Kanuhuraa team paid to the safety of the food.

Food Safety Asia conducts workshops and trains people on food safety. The FSA has trained more than 10,000 people in Maldives.
