The President and Vice President update the Cabinet on the measures taken by the Government to resolve the protests in Reethi Rah Resort

President Mohamed Nasheed and Vice President Dr. Mohamed Waheed have today updated the Members of the Cabinet on the measures taken by the Government to resolve the protests in Reethi Rah Resort.

The President said that the Government had been very closely observing the employees’ strike in the resort, and that a Government representative was sent to the resort to help resolve the problem.

Vice President Dr. Waheed said as part of Government’s efforts to resolve the problem, an agreement has now been reached, after talks held between the employees and management of Reethi Rah Resort.
