Saudi Tourism delegation to visit Maldives

Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) has revealed that a 10 member delegation from Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Commission for Tourism is scheduled to arrive in Maldives for a study tour of tourism facilities and management.

MATI informed that during their stay they will meet with officials from Economic Development, Tourism and Civil Aviation and other government ministry officials.

The delegation is also expected to meet with the executive Board of the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry, (MATI) and senior officials of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture to discuss tourism, investment, development and environment.

Professor Jack Carisen, who was the Chief Technical Expert on the Third Tourism Master Plan team, is accompanying the study tour, which has been organized by Eugen Heller, Director of INCOPA Consulting Group based in Munich, Germany.

The Saudi delegation, during the tour will explore investment opportunities for Saudi Arabians in the Maldives and the possibility of expanding tourism between Saudi Arabia and Maldives.
