Newfound reason to visit the Maldives

While many visit the Maldives for its pristine beaches and breathtaking underwater beauty, a group of bloggers have a newfound reason to visit the Maldives.

Bloggers behind two of Asia’s popular food blogs ‘Cumi & Ciki’ and ‘A lil fat monkey’ has visited the Maldives recently to spend a little bit more time in the restaurants and bar’s besides snorkeling and soaking up some sun.

Having spent a couple days quizzing the Chef’s and Bartenders, besides trying out number of drinks and delicacies at Sheraton Maldives and W Maldives, the food bloggers were truly amazed by what Maldives had to offer.

“The service and food was sensational, especially the menu at Sea Salt in Sheraton Maldives and at Fire in W Maldives. We were completely impressed by the contemporary Maldivian cuisines prepared by Executive Chef Sven Cepon at the Sheraton and Chef Mauro Gomez at W.”, said Ms. Mei of the blog Cumi & Ciki regarding the trip.

The bloggers also visited the capital city of Male’ to see some of the popular food hotspots from the fishermen’s market to the vegetable market before heading to Sea House; one of the popular restaurants in Male’; for a very authentic Maldivian dinner.

Concluding, Mei said that it has turned out to be one of the best, top notch holiday get away's, that they’ve ever had and that they would highly recommend this place to all their readers and friends.
